Application Review

Smart Choice Resource may use automated tools to assist with checking application completeness, required acknowledgments, and submitted professional or business information.

Automated screening is used to assist with administration and does not, by itself, constitute final approval or denial.

Application Status

Applications may move through statuses including Application Received, Pending Verification, More Information Required, Approved, or Not Approved.

Professional Verification

Where applicable, SCR may review licenses, certifications, registrations, business information, insurance information, or other credentials submitted by an applicant.

Verification means only that specified information was reviewed according to applicable SCR procedures. It does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, recommendation, or endorsement of professional services.

Basic Professional Listing

Eligible professionals may participate through a Basic Professional Network listing at no membership cost.

Professional Plus — Optional

SCR may offer an optional Professional Plus membership with enhanced profile features, visibility, promotional opportunities, or other Professional Network benefits.

Professional Plus is optional and is separate from professional verification.

Verification Is Separate From Payment

Payment for an optional membership does not purchase or guarantee verification, approval, ranking, referrals, leads, customers, revenue, or other business results.

Recurring Membership Authorization

Submitting a Professional Network application does not authorize recurring charges.

Any recurring Professional Plus membership will begin only after the applicant affirmatively selects the paid membership and agrees to the applicable price, billing frequency, and recurring-payment terms.

Cancellation & Refund Information

Paid membership terms will identify applicable cancellation and refund conditions before purchase. Recurring memberships will include a method to cancel future charges.

SCR’s Role

Smart Choice Resource operates as an informational, discovery, and connection platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, professionals participating in the SCR Professional Network operate independently from Smart Choice Resource.

Participation does not guarantee acceptance, verification, placement, ranking, inquiries, referrals, leads, customers, revenue, or other business results.
